Magdalene Chorongo

Chief Storyteller

Magdalene Chorongo holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Literature with IT from Maseno University. At Edutab Africa, she serves as a Communications intern co-leading post-design and social media management. She takes charge of recording, editing, and production of the African Children’s Stories podcast which has both  Swahili and English stories.

Additionally, she possesses strong skills in project management and community engagement honed through her latest community project  “empowering teenage mothers in west Karateng’, Kisumu,  to embrace their status and build confidence” which was funded by Peacefirst Organization.

Beyond her role at Edutab Africa, Magdalene is a passionate storyteller and talented actress currently working with Transwood Film Production based at Kitale.  Her enthusiasm for community service extends to her involvement with the Rotaract Club of Kitale. In her free time, she is an avid reader, particularly enjoying children’s literature and novels, and she remains open to continuous learning and personal growth.
